Mats Strandberg, born in 1976, became known with the Engelfors trilogy (co-author Sara B. Elfgren), the series was sold in a total of 25 countries and vol. 1, The Circle, was also made into a film. Since then, he has published two horror novels for adults, among others, and The Crossing was on the Spiegel bestseller list. Strandberg lives in Stockholm.
